Javelin Missile MIS-42597W 29 April 2016 Mission Critical Computer Resource (MCCR) CSCI
Army engineering
is subjugated to the point of blind obedience to Program Management (PM = the
money $) into providing, regardless of how inadequate or bad, whatever the PM
requires to achieve their purpose or goal. You don't disapprove, I
was removed for that, you only provide comments, if any, for technical
documentation that is woefully inadequate or just plain bad, that the PM can
ignore (the norm) but checks the block for the PM to move on and do whatever
they wanted. Bad engineering is not the exception for the Army it's
the rule. Meeting with Susan Davis and presenting my findings on the
Javelin MIS-42597W 29 April 2016 Mission Critical Computer Resource (MCCR)
CSCI for the Javelin Antitank Weapon System Susan agreed just how bad the
Javelin technical documentation was. Same horrible documentation as
with the Joint Air To Ground Missile (JAGM) posted, atrocious engineering of a
major Army system. The same bad engineering practices, or worst, for
another major Army system but the story only gets even more egregious and will
be farther expanded upon in the next post as the story
continued. Exemplifying the normal chain of bad engineering that
goes on day to day in the Army, who actually propagates (copies) that same bad
engineering documentation that Army technical management is aware of to facilitate the PM and the Army to do whatever it feels like regardless
of just how horrible or inadequate the technical documentation actually is.
