America’s Army

The Army is shutting down it's free to play first person-shooter

recruiting tool after 20 years.

Posting:

America’s Army: Proving Grounds: Mission Success, Time to Withdraw.

-  like Afghanistan?

-  like Vietnam?

As I've pointed out and provided examples of on this blog substantiating the fact that Army management has not ethics, morels or integrity with this "lure" providing even more evidence of that accusation.  You say not for recruiting.  On America's Army is a link to goarmy.com enlistment!  The army says the game teaches teamwork... killing teamwork?  Stating that the games teaches LDRSHIP an acronym for the seven basic values of the United States Army:  The Army loves acronyms.

Loyalty - bear true faith and allegiance to the U.S. Constitution, the Army, your unit and other soldiers.

Duty - Fulfill your obligations.

Respect - Treat people as they should be treated.

Selfless Service - Put the welfare of the nation, the Army, and your subordinates before your own.

Honor - Live up to all the Army values.

Integrity - Do what’s right, legally and morally.

Personal Courage - Face fear, danger or adversity (physical or moral).

To repeat I've never found honor or integrity in Army Management or Government Management although I had 33 years to find it.  I only find the opposite like politicians.

Touting virtues while showing their real amoral ethics.  Basically the kind of integrity of using Joe Camel to lure children to cigarettes.  Funded with taxpayers money (~$3M+ a year).

A killing game to lure young persons.  A game glorifying war which glossing over the ugly reality of fighting and killing other men.  Demonstrating the absolute lack of morals something of course the Army would do and fund for 20 YEARS till the number of players ran aground.

That's OK there's esports!

20 years and still no trace of LDRSHIP
