Chrome F***ed Up Display Problem

For a while now, months, I've notice Chrome display of a Web Page go kind of bonkers periodically making interacting with it practically impossible.  All the visual elements of the page go bananas as you move your mouse across them.  Hence me calling it Chrome F***ed Up Display Problem which I have looked for a solution posted online and never seen one.  Early on running into this problem I believe I recall finding out that restarting chrome fixes it.  This time I was downloading so that was not an option (not a good one) BUT I found that bringing up Chrome Task Manager [More Tools].  Locating GPU Process, which I bet is really big, highlighting it and clicking the blue End Process button at the bottom right.  I'm unaware of any bad effects of killing GPU Process.  Good effects actually it can become a HUGE Memory HOG.  So two ways to fix it.  It had just locked up really bad with youtube and I could almost do nothing to interact with the page.  I think it was Gmail in the earlier incident.  All Google shit so why does this not surprise me! I guess all the money doesn't go back in to the software.  Hope that helps.  We need all the help we can get right!

UPDATE - I noticed this works when you start to see the effects begin in Chrome with e.g. gmail display. (Happens a lot!)

Good Luck!
