What did I just post more guns!  The solution ... more guns! 

Now wasn't that easy!

Floridians will be able to carry concealed guns without a permit under a bill the Legislature sent to Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis on Thursday. The governor said at a suburban Atlanta gun store that he will sign the bill.

 

The Senate passed the bill on a 27-13 vote. It will allow anyone who can legally own a gun in Florida to carry one without a permit. It means training and a background check will not be needed for people to carry concealed guns in public.

 

“You don’t need a permission slip from the government to be able to exercise your Second Amendment rights,” DeSantis said.

Studies indicate that, after adjustment, individuals in possession of a gun were 4.46 (P < .05) times more likely to be shot in an assault than those not in possession.  Among gun assaults where the victim had at least some chance to resist, this adjusted odds ratio increased to 5.45 (P < .05). 

So carrying a gun means that you are over 4 and a half time more likely to be shot than someone that doesn't carry a gun.  So of course it makes perfect sense for everyone to be packing.  No training required!  Signed in a gun store.  Money rules.

Investigating the Link Between Gun Possession and Gun Assault

What did I say more guns.  TN Gov now promoting armed guards at schools.  

It will be easy to check DeSantis results.  Just check the number of shooting in Florida at the end of the year.  So easy to determine if he's full of crap!
