Gun Slavery

In recent readings of the Civil War I was struck by the similarities of the total chaos of the Government & the Democratic & the Republican parties and the nation then to now.  Including the struggle over Federal vs State authority.  Wow déjà vu.

It's strikingly similar but of course then it was over slavery ..... now it's guns.

I'm not saying their the same but the division of the nation was quite similar. 

I know this is going to really piss some people off.

The truth hurts.  That's what it's all about right?

We can all do better.
