SNAP Candy and Soda?

Soft drinks, candy, cookies, snack crackers, and ice cream are food items and are therefore eligible items for SNAP.  This is soooo detrimental and should not be allowed.  Really it's insane.  You're paying up front with SNAP and then for the diabetes and future medical bills caused by high refined sugar consumption.   People have you lost your minds.  Why not subsidize cigarettes & alcohol too if your goal is to kill the poor.  Refined sugar is a drug folks.... but that OK BIG money in it!  America money rules!  The post on our rich presidents which substantiates that.  Just about every one of them.  The heck with preventive medicine (insurance) just feed them sugar.
